The two actors have worked together in John Day and also act together in their Motley theater group

Randeep Hooda and Naseeruddin Shah have had a long standing friendship. If we recall the two have been a part of the Motley theater group for ages and they have shared screen space in John Day as well. A little birdie informs us that Randeep is such a big fan of the Dedh Ishqiya actor that he considers his latest releaseHighway incomplete till the Dedh Ishqiya actor watches it.

Talking to a leading daily, the Jism 2 actor tells, “For me, Highway is incomplete till Naseeruddin sir watches it. I am eagerly waiting for his review. I want him to see the film and sit down with me and discuss about it. He has been receiving a lot of calls from the many people praising my work. So he is very happy about it.” If we remember the Murder 3 actor had organised a special screening of Imtiaz Ali’s film just for the Zinda Bhaag actor, but unfortunately he couldn’t make it. “Unfortunately, he couldn’t make it for the screening. Nonetheless, he will soon watch the film,” informed Randeep to a leading daily.

Imtiaz Ali’s Highway hasn’t performed too well at the box office but has received rave reviews. Randeep is happy about these mixed reactions and hopes that the film would catch up in the coming weeks by word of mouth. “When we made this film, we were certain that this film was not a huge opener kind of a film. The film has received mixed reactions and I hope the film will pick up over word of mouth. So far the reviews have been favourable for me and for the film,” added the 37 year old actor.

Randeep and Alia Bhatt have been applauded for their performances in the film, but until Naseersaab gives his special comments on the film Randeep won’t be happy. The veteran actor is known for talking his heart out just like he did for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. We will be eagerly waiting for his review of the film just as much as Randeep Hooda.
