Born on March 15, 1984, Yo Yo Honey Singh’s real name is Hridesh Singh who studied music at the Trinity School in the United Kingdom. Before making it big as a rapper, Honey Singh was a recording artist and then a bhangra producer. But things really changed for Singh in 2011 when his song Lak 28 kudi da in collaboration withDiljit Dosanjh reached No 1 in BBC Asian Download Charts. In the following year the rapper got noticed in Bollywood when his song Angreji beat from his album International Villager featured in Saif Ali Khan starrer Cocktail. However, he became a singing sensation overnight with his song Lungi dance featuring B-town superstar Shahrukh Khan and the very gorgeous Deepika Padukone. The song was a tribute to South superstar Rajinikanth which also made Honey Singh a superstar in the music industry. Apparently, HS is also the highest paid music artist ever in B-town. Now that’s a big accomplishment in a very short span of time, hai na? His recently released song Chaar bottle vodka with Sunny Leone has already became a rage amongst the masses. Next, Honey Singh will be crooning for Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor as well. The Yo Yo Honey Singh fever is certainly growing stronger and isn’t going to fade away any time soon for sure.

Abbas-Mustan finally get Big B on board
In a career spanning two decades, Abbas-Mustan, the filmmaking duo known for their brand of racy thrillers, have never worked with Amitabh Bachchan. But that's going to change with their next. Mirror has learnt that the directors have convinced Big B to feature in their upcoming thriller, which will have an ensemble cast.
While speculations are rife about them taking the Race franchise forward, the brothers' next will be a dark murder mystery, with Bachchan in the lead.
A source close to the development said, "Mr. Bachchan had several script narrations with Abbas-Mustan. He has really liked the premise and is figuring out his schedule to accommodate this film."
When contacted, Abbas confirmed the news saying, "It's true, we met Mr. Bachchan and he found the script fantastic. Along with him, there will be four more actors - two male and two female leads. We'll be casting them soon."

My life isn't fodder for gossip columns: Sushant Singh Rajput
Ever since his Bollywood debut two years ago, much has been written about Sushant Singh Rajput's personal life, especially his live-in relationship with TV star Ankita Lokhande.
From unconfirmed reports about Ankita slapping him in public after a jealous fit, to buzz about a secret engagement in Indore and more reports about a fight and a ugly breakup, this love saga had started resembling a TV soap, more than a mushy rom-com.
When Mirror contacted Sushant Singh Rajput for the real version, he refuted all rumours of a split. "I will admit that I'm amused by these never-ending rumours and also very impressed by some of the innovative stories and attempts to make my personal life spicy," he said. So all is well? "I'm all sorted and very happy with Ankita."

It's a friendly duel.
When director Sanjay Chhel first set out to write a family comedy about two warring 'frenemies' he turned to the much loved duo Tom and Jerry for inspiration. Once the screenplay was ready, he took it to Paresh Rawal, an acquaintance from Chhel's theatre days.
"Fortunately, Paresh bhai liked the character. After that I took the other diametrically different role to Rishi Kapoor, who was hooked when he learnt that Paresh bhai and he'd be co-stars. He directed Paresh bhai in Aa Ab Laut Chalen and was excited at the prospect of sharing screen space with him," reminisces the writer-director while talking about his yet-untitled project which stars Vir Das and debutante Payal Ghosh in the romantic lead.
"They are both businessmen but are poles apart and share a similar love-hate relationship. While one is colourful, flamboyant and larger-than-life, the other is traditionally conservative," says Chhel, who describes the film as a comedy, like the kind Hrishikesh Mukherjee excelled in.
This scene which shows Rishi trying to hose down Paresh was filmed in Surat in February. It was a wintery day, yet Paresh had no objections to getting a cold shower for the shot.
"It's a pleasure to work with actors like him and Rishi Kapoor who give one-shot-takes. Their chemistry will be clear for all to see onscreen," says Chhel. —Mumbai Mirror Bureau
